Invitation

I am what is called a Taildancer. It is a great privilege and honor to be asked to serve as Taildancer because it is a compliment to our style and energy. Taildancers typically dance with much spirit and dramaticmovement, which is meant to inspire the other dancers to dance harder and "bust a move !" We set the tone and pace of the dance, in a sense. When I am dancing it symbolizes being on the battlefield. At the end of each song, Taildancers kick with our feet, which symbolizes kicking over bodies of enemies on the battlefield to make sure they are dead. If the enemy is not dead then we kill him, but that doesn’t take place in the dance, of course, nobody dies."

Peinture de Marla Skye. « Spirit Warrior » - 70 x 90 cm
